**ITEM OVERVIEW:**
Up for auction is a 100% authentic, antique Masonic Knights Templar Commander's Ceremonial Sword, complete with its original white metal scabbard. This piece was manufactured by the renowned Henderson-Ames Company out of Kalamazoo, Michigan, dating its production between 1893 and 1933.

**KEY FEATURES & DETAIL:**
- **Maker's Mark:** Crisp, original "The Henderson-Ames Co. Kalamazoo, Mich." stamp clearly visible on the ricasso.
- **Hilt & Grip:** Features the highly desirable white officer/commander grip variation adorned with the inlaid Masonic Passion Cross (Cross and Crown). The pommel is topped with an intricate knight's helmet.
- **Scabbard:** Original matching white-finished nickel scabbard with ornate brass/gilt hangers and cross emblems.
- **Blade:** Ornate historic acid-etched detailing runs down the length of the steel blade.

**CONDITION REPORT:**
This sword is in honest, untouched "estate find" antique condition. The scabbard shows minor paint chipping and spotting consistent with age. The hilt and crossguard retain deep, beautiful natural patina. The lower blade has heavy surface oxidation and rust spotting near the guard that covers a portion of the etching (please see photos for details). I have chosen to leave this piece uncleaned to preserve its historical integrity for the buyer.
