Canna Lily Seeds, Assorted Colors

The Canna Lily is a tropical perennial plant that produces big, bold paddle-shaped leaves and bright, attractive flowers that grow on spikes in various shades. Canna Lilies easily bloom all summer without much effort. These seeds were gathered from a big grouping of 25 Cannas, mostly red and orange, and a few pink and yellow.

If you live in a warmer climate where it does not get below freezing, these will come back each year. If you live in a climate where it freezes in the winter, you can dig up the rhizomes and store them over the winter and replant them the next year and they return.

Will arrive in a non-tracked envelope to keep prices as low as I can.

I have scarified the seeds with sandpaper for easier and higher chance of germination and I add non-scarified seeds if you want to try different germination methods.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS:

I have the most success (80+%) when I place the scarified seeds in a bowl and put NEAR BOILING water on them in a window sill and let in sit for about 2 weeks. A few days after the root node has emerged, I move all the seeds to soil and pot them. They usually start to emerge about 5-7 days later.
