Anita is one of the rarest gems of Dutch psychedelic space‑rock — a wild, experimental, late‑60s trip created by a collective of musicians centred around Sandy Coast members Ron Westerbeek and Onno Bevoort. Originally released in 1969, the album blends psych‑rock, cinematic grooves and avant‑garde textures into a cult classic that has long been sought after by collectors.
This Music On Vinyl edition marks the first official reissue since 1969, newly remastered from the original master tapes and issued as part of the Behind The Dykes presents A Dutch Psychedelic Rarity series.
Pressed on 180‑gram audiophile purple vinyl, limited to 750 individually numbered copies, and released for Record Store Day 2021 with the official RSD sticker.
