The third studio album from Manchester’s Doves, Some Cities blends atmospheric rock with urban introspection. Recorded across multiple UK locations—including a Benedictine monastery—the album features rich textures, layered production, and standout singles like “Black and White Town.” Produced by Ben Hillier and the band, it captures a darker, more experimental edge while retaining their melodic core.
