Rare pair of Mallards Acme folding decoys with anchor weights from St. Louis, MO, over 100 years old. The decoys are in fair condition, featuring printed canvas with a wooden bottom board and a side rod lever that raises and lowers the body.
The drake’s body/head lever doesn’t lift as high as the hen’s when operated, as shown in photos #1 and #2. I think the lever can be adjusted. The drake’s bottom board is unpainted, while the hen’s body/head opens higher and its bottom board is painted gray.
Both anchor weights are in excellent condition for being over 100 years old and are highly desirable among collectors.
