Original Soviet KM-16 Pilot Oxygen Mask with Hose – Cold War Aviation Equipment
Offered for sale is an authentic Soviet KM-16 aviation oxygen mask, complete with its original corrugated breathing hose.
This is a genuine piece of Cold War military aviation equipment, highly desirable for collectors of Soviet Air Force memorabilia, aviation museums, historical displays, and reenactment collections.
The KM-16 was introduced during the 1950s and remained in service for many years with the Soviet Air Force.
It was designed to supply oxygen to pilots flying at high altitude and was used together with Soviet flight helmets and oxygen systems.
The mask is commonly associated with early Soviet jet aircraft, including the MiG-15, MiG-17, MiG-21, and bombers such as the Il-28. Variants of the KM-16 also appeared with other Soviet aviation equipment before being gradually replaced by later mask designs.
