This hook is awesome.  Heavy as heck.  I bought it probably fifteen years ago and it was from an antiques mall.  I do not know the origin or year or manufacturing data. I never painted it.  It came as red.  I have hung it in my bathroom for towels, near my entryway for a hat, and on a wall for coats.  I will free-ship it within three days of sale, within the United States.
