Up for grabs is an exceptionally clean, rare 1960s Doric Cheetah Reverb Combo Organ. Built in Italy by GEM in the very same facility that produced the iconic Vox Jaguar, these share the exact same internal voice oscillator modules. If you want true, authentic 1960s garage-rock, psych, and lo-fi analog character without paying the standard Vox tax, this is the holy grail alternative.

This unit is in beautiful cosmetic shape for its age and features the classic crimson and black Tolex case with an integrated spring reverb circuit.

Technical Condition & Functionality Details:

Internals/Cosmetics: Exceptionally clean. Pop the lid and you will find pristine, solfege-labeled circuit boards, intact components, and straight key-contact paths. The keys sit even and flat.

Power Supply: Like almost all US-market Doric imports, the highly specific proprietary factory power cable is missing. It has been successfully powered on using a temporary, handmade test cord which is not included in the sale. The buyer will need to source an old stock cable, build an adapter, or convert the chassis jack to a modern IEC standard.

Audio Output: The organ does successfully power up and pass audio, but the output is currently very quiet. The individual functions of the rocker switches (Vibrato On/Fast, Reverb, Cornets, Horns, Strings, Reeds, Flutes) have not been electronically benched or fully verified.

Because of the low audio volume and the lack of a factory power cable, this is being offered strictly As-Is / For Parts or Repair as a premium restoration project for a vintage keyboard enthusiast, synth technician, or studio looking for a killer piece of analog history.
