1/25 AMT 1960 Chevy Apache Pickup Truck Built in 1962 K-732 Box (& Some Resin Parts)
AMT Chevrolet Apache pickup truck kit that I've been told is a 1960, builtup in a 1962 box, with some additional resin parts included (see photos and description below). A helpful fellow eBayer has advised that the truck is a 1960 - not a 1962. It is built with a thick gold paintjob - I am not sure what kind of paint it is, but it may be challenging to strip (it is particularly thick / etchy on the hood). It doesn't look like any details have been sanded away, but again, I am not sure how the body will respond to stripping. It has steel wheels with whitewall tires and a couple of hubcaps on it (not a full set). Hood has been glued shut, and there is no engine. The chassis looks to have been cut/notched to lower it. The front bumper / grill and headlights have some glue spots. There is only one tail light here. There are loose stock used and new chrome resin '1962' dated rear bumpers in the box, along with a couple of smaller chromed resin pieces in baggies as shown (the labelling makes me think they are probably Modelhaus). I suspect the last owner of this group may have been collecting parts to try and eventually build a '62, but all of the pieces for that are not here yet. Including a partial builtup trailer (it has no wheels), along with a cut-up interior piece that looks to be from a different kit. Including instruction sheet, but no decal sheet. The 1962 box is in decent condition overall with good color, but some shelfwear, a sticker on one end, and a few pencil holes poked in the cover

Shipping: Canada Post shipping to the Continental USA or Canada is $18.80. This includes the 11% premium that eBay is now charging sellers on shipping. Combined shipping: I always combine shipping on multiple kit purchases. International shipping: International shipments also go at actual Canada Post shipping cost, but it will be much higher (I ship worldwide). If you would like a quote for shipping to your country before bidding, please ask and I would be happy to provide you with one. Thanks for looking! |
