Vintage Vicente Tatay Tomás 12-String Spanish Bandurria

Made in Valencia, Spain - Mid-Century Folk Instrument

Beautiful, highly collectible 12-string acoustic Bandurria crafted by the renowned luthier workshop of Vicente Tatay Tomás in Valencia, Spain. This traditional world music instrument features a classic pear-shaped body, a flat back design, a spruce top, and a slotted headstock carrying twelve inline tuning pegs.

The original internal paper maker's label ("Fabrica de Guitarras, Bandurrias y Laudes - Vicente Tatay Tomás") is completely intact and legible.

Condition Details:

- Structural Condition: Excellent. Crucially, the neck joint/heel is perfectly flush with the body on both sides with absolutely no lifting, shifting, or separation under string tension. The top is flat and stable.

- Cosmetic Condition: Good vintage condition. The body exhibits honest aesthetic wear from age and handling, including light finish checking, superficial surface scuffs, and minor scratches (mostly localized near the lower edge and neck joint area). There are no open wood cracks or structural breaks.

- Playability: Measures at a standard traditional ~10.5" scale length (nut to 12th fret). Tuners turn smoothly, and the frets show very light wear with plenty of life left.

Instrument only (no case included). Will be professionally packaged and padded heavily to ensure 100% safe transit to its new home.
