Tokushi Katsuhira (1904–1971) was a Japanese woodblock print artist who spent his entire life in Akita, depicting its landscapes, culture, and daily life. Self-taught in printmaking, he developed his own color woodblock printing techniques under the influence of the Sosaku Hanga movement. His prints of Akita have been widely appreciated in Japan and internationally.
