Vintage Philips DTX 6371/05A Digital Terrestrial Receiver - Made in Belgium

- PLEASE NOTE: Due to the 2012 UK digital switchover, this vintage receiver can no longer tune into modern Freeview channels and displays a red "no signal" square on the channel view. This item is sold strictly as a collectible piece of television history for prop, display, or nostalgic software exploration.

INCLUDES:

• Philips DTX 6371 Digital Terrestrial Receiver
• Original RC2580/01 Remote Control (Requires 2x AA Batteries)
• ONdigital Smart Card
• Top Up TV Smart Card
• User Manual
• Power Cable
• Scart Cable

The unit has been power-tested and successfully outputs the original "on setup" user interface menu via SCART.

Condition: good condition with some signs of use as seen in the pictures.

This classic set-top box is from the historic ONdigital / ITV Digital broadcasting era.

The Philips RC2580/01 remote control works for navigating the internal system. It allows you to open and browse the original "on setup" menus using the menu and arrow keys. While the standby button does not affect the screen, the power button on the actual receiver works as it should. There is a very slight rattle if you shake the remote but this doesn’t affect use. This is ideal for anyone looking to interact with the classic menus and explore the vintage software layout.
