The McLaren Action Pad is a fascinating piece of late-90s hardware. Produced by the third-party manufacturer Skream and officially licensed under the McLaren racing brand, it offered players a customized layout compared to Sega's stock controller.

While this specific version is finished in McLaren's vibrant signature racing red, the controller was also manufactured in an all-black variant. Because Skream distributed this peripheral in relatively low quantities toward the end of the console's lifecycle, complete or working units have become highly sought-after, rare collectible items among retro gaming enthusiasts
