This is an AMAZING VINTAGE pair of handmade stoneware clay studio art pottery bowls made in the 1980s. They are glazed in a BEAUTIFUL brown and purple drip glaze that mix about half-way down the sides.  The interior of the bowls are a BEAUTIFUL purple glaze.  The underside is incised with the initials "CS" or "CG."  These bowls are perfect for soup, cereal, nuts, ice cream, trinkets, keys, or just showing off.  They are each about 5.5 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches tall.  They are in EXCELLENT CONDITION!  There are no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, nicks, discoloration or stains.  These are handmade, so there are some small imperfections from the making process.
