A genuine Canson Graduate Drawing Sketchbook, ideal for sketching, drawing, illustration, design work, journaling, urban sketching, travel drawing, classroom use and everyday creative practice. This compact hardback sketchbook measures 5.5 x 8.5 inches, approximately A5 size, and contains 52 sheets / 104 pages of 160gsm white acid-free paper.
Part of the Canson Graduate range, this sketchbook is a practical choice for artists, students, illustrators, designers, hobbyists and anyone who wants a portable drawing book with a strong protective cover. The hardback format gives extra support when drawing away from a desk, making it useful at home, in the studio, in class, outdoors, while travelling or when sketching on location.
The 160gsm paper gives a sturdier feel than lightweight sketch paper and helps reduce show-through with suitable dry media. The lightly textured white surface is well suited to graphite pencils, coloured pencils, charcoal, fineliners, pen drawing, sketching, studies and illustration work. The acid-free paper helps preserve artwork over time, making it suitable for practice pieces as well as finished sketches.
A 180° lay-flat binding allows the sketchbook to open comfortably for drawing across a double-page spread, while the elastic strap helps keep the book securely closed during transport and storage. The strap can also be used as a practical page holder while working.
Artist view: this is a strong everyday sketchbook for dry drawing techniques and regular creative use. It is best judged for portability, practicality, durability and value. The paper is excellent for pencil, pen, sketching and light dry media work, but artists using wet washes, heavy ink, acrylic or mixed media should test first or choose a dedicated mixed media or watercolour paper for heavier applications.

Our goal is to make sure your purchase arrives in good condition. With price being so important to a lot of eBayer we recycle packaging materials and waste mount card from our picture framing services to help limit the additional costs in properly protecting your goods. With a range of packaging which include padded bags, cardboard envelopes wraps and boxes, as well as when necessary bubble wrap. Unlike a lot of cheap the eBay sellers we only use plastic mailbags when we feel the item cannot be damaged or have used additional protection inside. We work on how my mum would pack it, as everyone knows mums are always right and know how to wrap things best. We still look to be amongst the cheapest priced sellers only with the best packs items.

For UK purchases we use royal mail for small items. For heavy and larger items we use a courier. We do not have any control over the prices or delivery times offered they are set by eBay. Items are sent to there UK centre and shipped to non UK address from there.
