1935 Press Photo Plans for United States Narcotic Farm, Fort Worth, Texas

Plans have been completed and bids will soon be asked for starting construction on Uncle Sam's proposed $4,000,000 federal narcotic farm at Fort Worth, Texas. It will be the most modern and completely equipped institution for the treatment of drug addicts in the world and will be built and operated under the direction of the United States health service. Above photo shows architects drawings of various buildings of the proposed farm. From top to bottom: the power house and the nurses' home. Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches. Photo Is dated 1935.
