ART DECO FRENCH COMPACT c1930 LACQUER ORIENTAL SIGNATURE

French Art Deco powder compact possibly circa 1930.  Oriental black lacquer with red Japanese style inscription near the clasp.  Gilt interior.  


Marks: The interior marked: PARIS MADE IN FRANCE.

Dimensions: approx 3 inches diameter.

Sadly the interior powder cover is missing.  The mirror is good.  Some severe tarnishing to the gold plating in the space the powder sits in.  The exterior enamel has a few tiny chips to the rim.  Overall very good condition.
