For your consideration is this scarce (and massive) complete two-volume set of History of Champaign County, Ohio: Its People, Industries and Institutions, edited by Judge Evan P. Middleton and published in 1917 by B. F. Bowen & Company, Indianapolis.

This complete two-volume 1917 edition contains an impressive 2,228 pages of Champaign County history, biographical sketches, genealogy, historical records, illustrations, and photographs, making it an invaluable reference for genealogists, historians, and collectors.

Both original hardcover volumes are included:

Overall, the books appear solid and complete. As noted above, these are exceptionally large, totaling over 2,200 pages across both volumes. They exhibit significant age-related wear, including rubbing, scuffing, edge and corner wear, surface scratches, shelf wear, and loss to the marbled paper boards, particularly along the edges. The page edges show age toning and light soiling, with scattered creases, foxing, stains, and other wear consistent with books over 100 years old. Please examine the photographs carefully for the overall condition.

Please review all photographs carefully for condition and details, and feel free to ask any questions prior to purchasing. Due to the vintage nature of many of the items I sell, they are offered in the condition shown. Unless specifically stated in the listing, I have not conducted a comprehensive inspection of every page, component, or function. Items are sold as found and as is.

This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a desirable complete 1917 Ohio county history that would make a wonderful addition to any genealogy, local history, Americana, or antiquarian book collection.
