WARNING:
Improper operation may result in electrical short circuit and fire hazard!
The negative cables of the 12 V battery (in the boot) and the auxiliary battery (dual energy storage model, on the passenger side in the engine compartment) must be disconnected from the negative terminal of the battery before installation, without allowing them to touch each other. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes, the vehicle is only installed once the built-in power has disappeared. Continuing with the electrical installation will cause a short circuit in the vehicle's electrical system and damage the switch assembly. Claims for reimbursement for damage caused by improper installation will also be rejected.
After the power supply has been restored following installation, the ‘parking assistance system failure’ problem will be resolved by allowing the system to return to normal after approximately 10 to 15 minutes of normal driving.
