This is a genuine Mercedes-Benz "Owner Appreciation Program" commemorative grille badge, awarded by Mercedes-Benz Japan to owners whose vehicle reaches the 100,000 km milestone. 

It is a NOT-for-sale award item, given only to qualifying owners through official dealers, which makes it a rare piece for collectors.

The badge features a deep blue enamel ring with "MERCEDES BENZ" lettering and a laurel wreath, a chrome three-pointed star at the center, and a "100,000 km" banner at the bottom. It is designed to be bolted onto the front grille, or it can simply be displayed as-is in its presentation case as a collector's item and conversation piece.
