Die Rückseite zeigt eine Lyra / Leier mit Pflanzenmotiv und Bezug zum patriotischen Körner-Motiv der Befreiungskriege. Die Medaille war ursprünglich offenbar als tragbares Stück mit Öse ausgeführt; die Öse ist heute nicht mehr vorhanden.

Gebrauchte alte Medaille mit deutlichen Alters-, Lager- und Gebrauchsspuren. Sichtbar sind Kratzer, Kontaktspuren, Randunregelmäßigkeiten und eine beschädigte Stelle am Rand, an der vermutlich die ursprüngliche Öse saß. Das Relief und die Umschriften sind weiterhin gut erkennbar.
Die Materialbestimmung ist nicht punziert und daher nicht absolut gesichert. Aufgrund der Optik, der weichen Oberfläche und des gemessenen Leitwerts wird das Material als vermutlich Zinn / Weißmetall eingeschätzt. Es handelt sich nicht um eine als Silber ausgewiesene Medaille.

Offered here is an old commemorative medal dedicated to Theodor Körner. The obverse shows Körner in uniform with the inscription “Theodor Körner” and his date of birth “geb. d. 23 Septbr. 1791”.
The reverse shows a lyre with plant decoration, referring to the patriotic Körner theme connected with the Wars of Liberation. The medal was apparently originally made as a wearable pendant medal; the suspension loop is no longer present.

Used old medal with visible age, storage and handling marks. Scratches, contact marks, edge irregularities and a damaged area at the edge are visible, probably where the original suspension loop was attached. The relief and inscriptions are still clearly visible.
The material is not hallmarked and therefore cannot be stated with absolute certainty. Based on the appearance, the soft surface and the measured conductivity value, the material is assessed as probably tin / white metal. This medal is not described as silver.
