Offered here is an antique German bisque shoulder head doll with brown glass stationary eyes, pierced ears with one dangling pink stone and brass earring.  The face is painted with thick feathered earrings, painted upper and lower lashes, nostrils denoted with small red dots, coral open mouth revealing upper teeth and small dimple in chubby chin.  The cheeks are gently blushed.  The inscribed marking on the back of the shoulder plate is difficult to read, I think it may be 10, SH, Germany.  The body is replacement and has not been kindly treated*; it is made of kid and cloth with gusseted hips/buttocks - this area needs repair - on the underside to prevent leaking of sawdust.  The lower legs are fabric, knees are gusseted.  The arms are connected with wood ball joints, the lower arms and hands are bisque with shaded tops of hands, painted around nail beds.  The shoulder "flaps" have been torn on one side, the inner body is marked 76.
