Up for auction/sale is a vintage Lionel No. 6119-25 D.L. & W. Work Caboose from the late postwar era, complete with its original factory box. This classic O gauge piece features a vibrant orange molded plastic body with crisp black lettering.

Condition & Visual Inspection Breakdown:

Body & Roof: As shown in ⁠image.png⁠, the top-down view highlights a very clean open work bin and main cabin roof, complete with the original black smokestack securely attached.

Side Lettering & Trim: The side profiles pictured in ⁠ display sharp, unsmudged "D.L. & W. 611925" stampings and bold "LIONEL" lettering across the side frames. The handrails and steps are fully intact.

Underside & Trucks: ⁠Showcase the underside configuration. The car is equipped with one operating magnetic coupler on one end and a fixed coupler on the other, which is standard for this production run. The metal wheels and axles show minor, typical surface oxidation and shelf dust consistent with age, but roll smoothly.

Original Box: The original Lionel Corporation box is included. As seen, the end caps clearly identify the model number "No. 6119-25". The box has moderate shelf wear, softening at the corners, and a partial tear/crease on one of the inner tucked flaps, but holds its structure well for display.
