It portrays Madam Vestris playing the role of a Bavarian peasant woman , she was a British actress and opera singer .

It stands at 5 7/8" high and measures 1 5/8"x 2" in diameter on the base .

There is some good professional restoration to a break around her legs and bottom of the  stump behind her and to the tops of the brushes in her raised hand  .

There is a small chip on the end of the lower brush and some fine glaze crazing .
