The Carthaginian was a beloved, steel-hulled replica of a
19th-century whaling ship that served as a floating museum in Lahaina Harbor on
Maui, Hawaii. Today, the intentionally sunk ship rests in 97 feet of water and
serves as a popular artificial reef and dive site.
