The Scheppach HBS25 electric portable benchtop bandsaw is designed for straight, curved and angled cutting in hardwood, softwood and other suitable wood-based materials. Its space-saving design fits neatly onto a workbench, while the 80mm maximum cutting height and 200mm throat provide useful capacity for both general sawing and more detailed woodworking projects.
Powered by a powerful 350W induction motor, this portable band saw runs the blade at up to 900m/min for smooth, controlled cutting. The HBS25 accepts saw bands from 6-12mm wide, allowing narrower blades to be used for tighter curves and wider blades to be used for straighter cuts, giving greater flexibility across different woodworking tasks.
A sturdy 300 x 300 mm work table provides good support for larger workpieces and it can be tilted continuously from 0-45° for bevel and mitre cutting. The bench bandsaw also features a double-clamped rip fence with quick-release adjustment for accurate straight cuts, while ball-bearing blade guides help maintain precise blade tracking during use.
The electric band saw features a dust extraction connection to help remove sawdust while cutting, together with a dust-protected on/off safety switch. A mitre gauge and push stick are also supplied, while the robust steel construction provides a stable platform for regular use in home workshops.
