~ all of the engines that were sold in the display boxes are recorded online to the best of my knowledge with year they were sent out .

I was not able to find any information on a handful of characters that I came across with for display stamped on the bottom. Maybe canceled box ? Not sure

~ engines marked with “for display only” on bottom were distributed to registered retail sellers of Thomas & Friends wooden railway trains by learning curve company.
