I purchased this Atari 1040 STF as untested.  After testing I found that the 3.5 inch floppy drive was not working.  I found a drive to replace the current drive and the replacement works great.  I tested it by loading up a game and reading a diskette written on another 1040STF.  The power cable can be purchased online as it is a normal AC computer power cable.  The power supply inside looks great and all of the Caps are in good shape for the age of the system.

I have left the formatted diskette in the drive for transport to protect the heads.
