Ritzenhoff, established in 1904, Germany's most prolific producer of beer glasses (over 50 million per year) produces special glasses for special occasions.  This pilsner/pilsgläser glass was produced in 1995 and was designed by the noted industrial designer, Michael Sieger.  This depiction of a king was accompanied by a similar representation of a queen by another artist.  This glass is about 10" tall, stands on a 3" in diameter base, and has a 2 1/2" opening.  There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or scratches, and the colors are bright.  The gold is intact.  It appears to be unused.
