​Case & Design: Features a rich mahogany or dark cherry finish on a wood case with a distinctive split-pediment top (the decorative "horns" or scrolls flanking the center finial). The lower front panel features heavily ornate, pierced wood fretwork/carvings that overlay the glass, framing the polished brass lyre pendulum.

​Dial: White analog dial with Roman numerals and a traditional leaf or spade-style hand design.

​Movement Type: It features a mechanical, spring-driven movement. The two winding holes on the face indicate a "time and strike" mechanism (one side powers the timekeeping, while the other powers the hourly/half-hourly chimes
