The jewel case has substantial cosmetic wear, including scratches, scuffs, cracks, chipped or broken plastic, damaged edges, and possible hinge damage. The paper artwork shows age-related wear, marks, and creasing. The disc has visible scratches and handling wear.
Product History
Microsoft Flight Simulator for Windows 95 was released during the early era of consumer Windows gaming and marked the long-running simulation series’ move onto the Windows 95 platform. It is commonly known among collectors and enthusiasts as Flight Simulator 95 or FS95.
The game expanded upon earlier DOS releases with a Windows-based interface, improved frame rates, enhanced atmospheric haze, multimedia instruction, additional scenery, and new aircraft. It became one of the most commercially successful entries in the historic Microsoft Flight Simulator series.
Featured aircraft include the Boeing 737-400, Extra 300S aerobatic aircraft, Cessna 182 RG, Learjet 35A, Schweizer 2-32 sailplane, and Sopwith Camel. Players can select aircraft, airports, weather conditions, and time of day before taking flight.
This copy was distributed through the SmartSaver value-software line around 2000. The software itself is the Windows 95-era edition rather than the separate Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 release.
