1950s-1970s Vintage BT TB Co Britains Female Horse Rider Figure Toy

Description

• Vintage hard plastic female horse rider figure dating from approximately the 1950s–1970s. Similar examples were commonly produced by manufacturers such as BT/TB Co., Britains Ltd., and other makers of farm, equestrian, and playset toys during the mid-20th century.
• The rider is dressed in a bright blue riding jacket, yellow scarf, tan riding pants, black riding boots, and a black riding helmet. Designed with a wide fixed-leg stance and cupped hands, the figure was intended to fit securely atop toy horses and riding playsets. The bowed leg design allows the rider to slide onto standard toy saddles found on vintage farm and equestrian sets.
