Vintage 1971 “Mr. Bottle Collector” Original Porcelain Creation decanter produced for The Antique Trader and TAB Company of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
This highly collectible figural decanter depicts a bottle collector leaning against an antique display cabinet filled with miniature collectible bottles while holding a small figural bottle and a TAB publication. A miniature copy of The Antique Trader newspaper rests atop the display case, making this a unique crossover collectible appealing to decanter, advertising, porcelain, and antique memorabilia collectors alike.
Produced as a Limited Issue in 1971 during the height of the figural bottle collecting hobby, this piece was created specifically for collectors and remains one of the more recognizable specialty decanters from the era.
