What is Akai MESA II?
MESA (Modular Editing System by Akai) is the legendary computer-based GUI software that provides centralized control over vintage Akai hardware samplers. By connecting your vintage Mac to your sampler via SCSI, MESA unlocks a large-screen visual environment to cut and paste wave samples, manage memory, and deeply edit multi-programs and keygroups without squinting at the sampler’s small front panel screen.
