This impressive crystal sculpture of a majestic eagle catching a fish is part of a private family estate that I have recently inherited. It is an original French piece from the renowned Cristal d'Arques (Arc International) glassworks. I am not an antique expert, so I am offering it here for collectors to assess, but its quality is evident.
The statue features a beautifully detailed clear crystal eagle perched on a heavy, frosted (satin-finish) base. It is a very substantial and high-quality decorative piece.

I have inspected the item very closely, and it is in excellent vintage condition:
No chips, cracks, or repairs to the wings, the beak, or the frosted base.
The crystal is very clear and brilliant.
The quality is reflected in its weight: it is a very heavy piece, weighing exactly 907g (nearly 1kg), confirming it is genuine 24% lead crystal made in France.
