Vintage Branded Military 1953 2-1/2lb Axe Wood Log Chopper Felling Axe Old Tool

Vintage 2-1/2lb axe, marked with the military arrow & dated 1953, branded but unclear, in good used condition with age & usage related marks/pitting, branded but unclear, it is not a crack in the handle, it is a groove in the wood, sold unsharpened.

Measures: head 7-1/4 inches long, cutting edge 4-1/4 inches, length with handle 32-1/2 inches.
