For sale is an original antique oil on canvas painting by F.E. Jamieson and signed to the lower right hand corner. It is something of an F.E. Jamieson classic featuring an atmospheric highland landscape at sunset or sunrise, a loch and a Scots pine to the lower right hand corner. The oil on canvas is mounted in a wooden frame.

The canvas measures 39.5cm by 60.5cm, when the frame is included it measures 44cm by 65cm. It has some fine crazing to the outer paint layer or surface and a tear with slight loss, which could ideally use a restoration patch. The tear is approximately 2cm long, though there is slight damage for a further 2cm. A lovely ready to hang antique oil on canvas by F.E. Jamieson, but would benefit from a little restoration. Please look out for another couple of Jamieson's I hope to be listing in the coming days. Please note: I will almost certainly change the string to verso before sending it out for something tougher.
