Stranded arter-cheir car dies on a disserted

country road, Cassie Osborne (MIA SARA) and her daughter, Samantha, are picked up by an affable gas station owner, Roy Scudder (BURT REYNOLDS). He offers to take them back to his house while he repairs their car. But the moment they meet Roy's beautiful wife Georgina (ANGIE DICKINSON) and their foul-mouthed daughter they know that something is terribly wrong. This strange family is hiding a dark secret and Cassie and Samantha are suddenly captives in the Scudder's twisted world of insanity.
