Manual of Business Training: A Complete Guide to Office Routine and Modern Methods of Business
A Stephen Noel Pitman 1947 Thirteenth Edition Hardcover with Dust Jacket

A. Stephen Noel’s Manual of Business Training was the foundational text for generations of British commercial students. This 1947 edition, published by the authoritative house of Pitman, is a vital artifact of post-WWII commerce. It details the intricate machinery of the mid-century office, from the handling of "Inward and Outward Correspondence" to the nuances of "Marine Insurance" and "The Stock Exchange." For the collector of social or commercial history, the volume’s "Page of Insets" is particularly significant, providing facsimiles of vintage business forms and documents.
