The M24 Chaffee was the pinnacle of light tank design during the twilight of World War II. Engineered to replace the aging M5 Stuart, this agile powerhouse entered the fray in late 1944, providing Allied crews with a formidable combination of speed, low-profile concealment, and a hard-hitting 75mm main gun. It served with distinction during the Battle of the Bulge and paved the way for armored reconnaissance tactics for decades to come.
This classic Testors/Italeri 1/35 scale re-release perfectly captures the aggressive silhouette and intricate battlefield engineering of the historic light tank. The unbuilt kit features highly detailed suspension assemblies, crisp hull textures, an articulating turret, and a complete multi-figure US Army crew to command the vehicle. Complete with authentic WWII marking options, this open-box kit is a fantastic, nostalgic find for vintage armor collectors and scale model builders alike.
