Paul Waller studied under Bob Benedetto and was promoted to Master Builder. He is a senior master builder who has created instruments for such notable names as U2's Adam Clayton, Keith Richards, Buddy Guy, and Nile Rodgers.

Paul Waller created the first Precision Bass made in 1951, which was the progenitor of all electric basses. The key points are the one-screw handmade maple finger rest, fiber bridge, coarse knurling, and delicately shaped 51 Nocaster knob on the top.
