A rare and highly collectible split LP from 2002, Tentacles / Dryystonian Dreamscapes Vol. One pairs Andrew Rieger of Elf Power with Portland experimentalists Yume Bitsu. Limited to just 500 copies on white vinyl, the album explores long‑form psychedelic textures, ambient drift and free‑form post‑rock soundscapes. Rieger’s 18‑minute “Tentacles” occupies the entire A‑side with hypnotic drone movement, while Yume Bitsu’s two B‑side compositions expand into cosmic, exploratory territory recorded at Radsoul Studio in 2000. A beautifully minimalist edition from Planaria Recordings and a must‑have for collectors of deep psych, experimental rock and early‑2000s underground pressings.
