The Belstaff Centenary Valiant Leather Jacket is one of the most sumptuous, luxurious looking and feeling leather jackets we have ever tried on. Belstaff introduced it to celebrate their centenary anniversary. It is made from a waxed lamb shearling and waxed calf leather that is stunningly soft to the touch. A set of D3O ghost armour is hidden in the elbows and shoulders and there is a pocket for an optional back protector. The Valiant really needs to be tried on to be fully appreciated. At this price, we realise this jacket won’t rock everybody’s boat, but if you are after a statement piece that is made to the highest standards, the Valiant should be on your shortlist.
