This is a beautiful and large Staffordshire cheese dome and plate with basketweave design impressed into the pottery.  This is a heavy piece and big - it is approximately 10 1/2" tall and 10" in diameter (plate).  Very good condition with only a tiny area of roughness on the bottom underneath rim.  No maker's mark but I believe it to be made in the Staffordshire area of England.  What a great statement piece!
