Hawaii First Postage Stamp  1864 Uncancelled RARE

This is a Hawaii Scott #31 2-cent vermilion stamp featuring King Kamehameha IV (Alexander Liholiho), issued between 1864 and 1886. It is notable for being Hawaii's first perforated stamp.

I bought this stamp for $50 in Hawaii in 1973. It was valued at $100 supposedly.

BONUS GIFT! 1951 Honolulu bus token with hula girl.

1951 Honolulu Rapid Transit (HRT) Company token from Hawaii. These tokens are well-known among collectors for the distinctive "Hula Girl" design in the center.

While 400,000 were minted in 1951, they were never officially placed into use for unknown reasons, making uncirculated examples fairly common today in gift shops and collections. All were supposedly destroyed but obviously a few fell into people's pockets.
