I acquired this bike from the original owner. He thought it was around a 1975, but from what I can make out on the crank stamp it's a 1973. Please see the last picture.

The original owner was born in the very late 1960's and had this bike hanging in dry storage for well over 4 decades. Even the chain stayed well oiled. The chain appears to be a Union, made in Germany original as can be noted in the pictures. I removed the chain and bagged it to avoid it scratching the paint. The banana seat has a few tears that are noted in the pictures, but overall presents well. 

The original paint on this bike is really nice. The fork darts and screening on the chain guard or all original and are painted on and not decals. Speaking of the chain guard, the head of the front screw gets screwed in from the back side opposite of other Stingrays. The chrome on this bike is nice. The rear fender has some dings noted in the pictures. I have not cleaned this bike. 

I will separate the seat, sissy bar, chain guard and possibly the handlebars to avoid damage in shipping.

Half ways through the pictures I noted the only white sissy bar cap was damaged and I had a few new ones laying around. I installed to new caps and will include the single original cap. 

To recap, this project will not come with rims, tires, pedals.
