Up for sale is a classic vintage mechanical alarm clock from the USSR – "Druzhba" (which means "Friendship"), produced by the 2nd Moscow Watch Factory (2MCHZ).

This iconic model was manufactured from the late 1950s through the 1960s. It was specially created to celebrate the strengthening of friendly relations between the Soviet Union and India. The elephant on the dial is a direct symbol of India, making this clock a unique artifact of Cold War-era diplomacy and design.

📌 Design & Condition:

    Dial: Rare beige-yellow finish. Features a beautifully printed elephant at the top and characteristic vintage numerals. Warm patina, perfectly matching its age.

    Case: Chrome-plated metal bezel paired with a heavy, robust bakelite base. The bakelite has a nice deep gloss with no major cracks.
