Please read. I believe this card is fine, but I encountered issues (possibly unrelated). Please ask any questions, I will try to answer as fast as possible!
This is an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti iCX. I recently acquired this card and put it through extensive testing. While it performs surprisingly well under heavy stress tests and gaming, it exhibits some odd display behaviors pre-OS (didn't show BIOS on my personal rig, but did show the BIOS and boot menu on my testing machine), and the previous owner reported issues (rare artifacting). Because of this, I am selling the card strictly AS-IS with full transparency so you know exactly what you are getting.
Quirks & Previous History:
Previous Owner's Report: The previous owner stated the card had artifacting on heavier games. I expected the card to be faulty, but I could not replicate the artifacting in my own testing (details below).
Odd Display Behavior: * When booting into a live CachyOS USB, the screen flickered when connected to a Samsung 4K TV at refresh rates above 30Hz.
When installed in my personal rig, the card would not display the BIOS or systemd boot menu. The screen remained blank until it booted into Windows, at which point it displayed perfectly fine. No flickering problem observed on my monitor either (PG27AQN)
Testing: Once in Windows, the card performed exceptionally well.
Heaven Benchmark: Ran a 30-minute stress test. Passed, completely stable.
OCCT Variable Stress Test: Ran for 20 minutes. 0 errors.
OCCT Memory Stress Test (95% VRAM): Ran for 20 minutes. 0 errors.
Gaming: Played Counter-Strike 2 for 2 hours. Performance was great, completely stable, and I experienced zero artifacting, big stuttering, or abnormal visuals.
Thermals: Under full load, temperatures hovered at a very healthy ~70-73°C.
Maintenance Performed:
I have disassembled the card and applied fresh thermal paste to the GPU die.
Please Note: The thermal pads are currently dirty. While the card runs at good temperatures right now, I highly recommend the buyer cleans or replaces the thermal pads for long-term reliability.
Disclaimer / Terms of Sale: Based on my stress tests and gaming sessions, the card appears to be okay and fully capable once inside an OS. However, due to the previous owner's reports of artifacting and the strange pre-boot/BIOS display behaviors I encountered, I cannot guarantee its long-term lifespan.
This card is being sold AS-IS, with no returns accepted. It is perfect for a knowledgeable enthusiast, a budget builder willing to take a calculated risk, or someone looking for a dedicated secondary GPU.
