This lot contains an unusual and interesting American locomotive screw cover 18 Size Nickel Stem Wind & Lever Set “yellow gold plated” Pocket Watch Open Face Case. This case was gold plated over the nickel (silverode) to make it appear to be a yellow gold-filled case however the case is in beautiful functional condition. However, it is a 120 year old 18 size nickel case that has been yellow plated. The case has a good glass crystal, good bow, stem, sleeve and good ball style crown. Both covers screw on and off with ease.
