Step into a warm, curated mid-century kitchen with this authentic Tilso Japan basketweave ceramic kitchen set —
a beautifully cohesive grouping that captures the charm and craftsmanship collectors look for in true MCM-era ceramics.
Each piece features Tilso’s signature ribbed basketweave texture, softly glazed in cream and tan with hand-detailed brown striping,
finished with sculptural leaf plaques and fruit finials that give the set its unmistakable vintage character.
Unlike later decorative reproductions, the labeled plaques — TEA, GREASE, TEA BAGS, INSTANT COFFEE, SALT, and PEPPER —
are fully molded ceramic elements integrated into the body of each piece. These are not decals, transfers, or applied stickers.
The weight, glaze depth, numbering, and construction all reflect genuine mid-century Japanese ceramic production.
Displayed together in the original wire caddy or styled individually throughout the kitchen, this set delivers that
cozy-meets-graphic MCM aesthetic that works beautifully in retro, cottage, and modern eclectic interiors alike.
A standout collection piece for vintage kitchenware enthusiasts and Tilso collectors.
